When you first start your coworking, you should definitely send an email to your list announcing it, so that they can opt-in to get the reminder emails if they want to join.

Original announcement email for first coworking session in April 2020Since this was all an experiment at the time, I wasn't announcing a new regular thing like you'll be doing -- I was just hosting it as a one-off thing, so my original one probably looks a little different than what you'll be making, but here it is for inspiration just in case.


SUBJECT LINE: creating content is hard right now, but this might help

Hi , These last few weeks have made it super hard to produce content for business. I know I’m not the only one who’s gone to ground and spent an inordinate amount of time with a coloring book. Showing up and creating can feel monumentally difficult when a massive portion of your energy is being spent stressing about whether or not you should risk going to the grocery store, if you have enough toilet paper to get through the week, and what the world will be like on the other side of this (however long that takes). This is a crazy new world, and we need to give ourselves the grace to be Human in the face of it (hustle culture be d*mned) AND Content full of Spark and purpose is exactly how we can show up for our people in a meaningful way in this crazy time. Plus, making sure you're creating your content purely from a place of Spark will fill your bucket and give you new energy, I promise. And after the Spark-fueled creation, if we throw some SEO Strategy in there too, we’re simultaneously showing up for our people in the future as well (you know, the future where we're all Googling things other than "coronavirus news"). This Strategy part happens to be my specialty, but the Spark at the core of the content is absolutely key before we can do the Strategy part. To help with this, and get a little digital socializing on as well, I'm hosting a coworking session on Friday.
